About this deal

Hope Spot: There is hope that Seichi will recover from the trauma inflicted by his mother after she is taken into custody. Gaslighting: Seiko does this to Seichi repeatedly to convince him that she tried to help Shigeru, instead of being the one to push him over the cliff. Seichi overcomes his trauma after Seiko finally dies of old age, but only after he's already lost everything and has spent 23 years of his life as an Empty Shell. I really hate these kind of "Psychological" type manga, because no one really understands the genre, maybe i am one of those, but this is boring, lame slop. He lives a normal life — friends at school, a Precocious Crush, and a loving mother and father that care for him.

Only in his late-thirties, Shuzo Oshimi is already considered a seasoned veteran of the Japanese comics community. Seiko tossing her own nephew off the cliff, before turning around with a pleased smile on her face, as if to say "I did this for you". Chapters and volumes here are irrelevant, but i think i stopped when the kid grew up to a beta male. Seiko gets really up close and personal with Seichi numerous times throughout the story, and one chapter has her choke Seichi while straddling him in a pose that looks very suggestive. While it's unclear whether her intentions are sexual, Seiko does seem to have a confused romantic interest in her son, kissing him on the lips twice over the course of the series and becoming horrified when she discovers a girl his age has a crush on him. Ian Wolf from Anime UK News praised the series' storytelling and Oshimi's artwork, highlighting the "detailed and sometimes disturbing close-ups" and "great views of the wilderness". Then a few chapters after that, Seichi follows a not-all-there Shigeru back to the cliff, where he has a vision of his mother which causes him to repeat her actions and shove him off the cliff again.

This arrived in great condition and I loved the first volume to such a degree I decided to get everything else available.Seiko reveals to Seichi that her parents doted on her sickly younger sister while verbally and emotionally abusing her, which became worse after her mother discovered that her father was having an affair. Blood on the Tracks ( Japanese: 血の轍, Hepburn: Chi no Wadachi ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shūzō Oshimi. The art style will change depending on the mental state of the main character and it makes for some amazing visuals throughout. A few chapters later, you realise that not only did she try to kill Seiichi as a toddler, but the reason why she had thrown Shigeru off of the cliff was because she saw Seiichi's face instead of Shigeru's and that was why she had shoved him. The lies—and his family—are falling apart, and Seiichi is left to pick up the pieces… But as he shakes off his mother’s influence and faces police questioning, a shocking revelation about his past emerges!

This manga feels very grounded in reality so far, no wired sci-fi stuff popping up, it feels like it could be a true story which just adds to the creepiness. His mother, Seiko, is considered overprotective of him by others, although Seiichi is comfortable with the love and care from his mother and does not feel anything strange about her behavior.Sehr gute und anahgenehme Atmosphäre, bei der man nicht weiß, wie der Protagonist und auch die creep-mom weiter handeln wird.
