Blocks, the LEGO magazine for fans, is taking a look at the LEGO Snowspeeders released over the years to see which one goes best with it. The Snowspeeder is part of the Ultimate Collector's Series, which mean that it's mostly a display model.

I much prefer the older style used here as the 2018 one is simply too large compared to a minifigure. Lando Calrissian minifigure is a reproduction of the original minifigure from 2003 and includes a 20th anniversary logo. The stand is good too because it gives you somewhere to keep the collectable Lando figure rather than just having him loose. This special-edition set is an updated version of the original 7130 Snowspeeder model released in 1999 and features an opening cockpit with space for the Luke Skywalker and Dak Ralter minifigures in pilot suits, laser cannons, a spring-loaded shooter under each wing, plus a stud shooter and harpoon with string at the rear. Marvel at all the minifigures of Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Yoda, Han Solo,Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Rey and Finn.Snowspeeders are simply not remotely white in appearance and I have no idea why Lego keeps making them in their white colour, especially considering it's one of the rare cases with star wars ships where they have a colour that is very close to the source material. With the release of the largest AT-AT ever in set 75313, another updated Rebel Snowspeeder would be expected. Most importantly, our display case will keep your Snowspeeder safe from dust and other harm, so you can enjoy it for years to come. The Snowspeeder has been a staple of LEGO Star Wars ever since the theme’s origins in 1999, but this version of the craft is probably the best one we have received from LEGO so far, without including the UCS models.

He also has a white backpack piece, which this particular trooper has had since its first version in 1999.Take in the details of the iconic X-wing, the Millenium Falcon, the Ewok Village and Hoth's Echo Base.

There are 2 spring loaded shooters under the 2 ‘wing’ sections which you can use to shoot the standard red bolt elements from. Overall, the LEGO Star Wars Snowspeeder – 20th Anniversary Edition (75259) is a decent set with a good selection of minifigures.

These work well but the white cap may be more accurate, but I imagine they used the dark tan cap to keep the colour scheme/motif.
