About this deal

And the best part about this series is that it’s so interconnected (but all standalones) & we get to see each brother in every book. As well as a mysterious fortune teller who just so happens to be very very good at what she does 😏 Key to their success is Amy Tannenbaum, their agent who has championed them during their journey. Amy understands the publishing industry and she has had the foresight to anticipate the changes as they have come, keeping her clients ahead of the curve. While Remy and Maria have their shared love history, that doesn't mean it is an easy road. But I just swooned over Remy in his perfectly imperfect pursuit, persistence and determination to take care of his Ria. Maria does her best to remain firmly independent and tries valiantly to not need or want to need Remy's help. Little Izzy has her own ideas about how that should go and these two are on their way to realizing what everyone else already knows; they never fell out of love in the first place. Maria only had her mother and younger sister but now it is just her until a blast from the past just happens to be on her same elevator.

When I read “second chance" I already started happy sighing. But when it's Remy, the oldest of the Winslow siblings getting a second chance with his first love? Swoon!! And Remy and Maria's second meet cute couldn’t be any more poignant and heartfelt. Despite being the epitome of tall, dark, and incredibly handsome, Remington Winslow has been single for most of his life. It’s cliche and easy until you consider the fact that he was once left at the altar in a horrific moment. I really tried to get into this one, but it fell flat. I almost closed it up once it’s revealed (still within the sample, and at about 5-10%) that our heroine is pregnant. I cannot stand stories where the h is pregnant with someone else’s baby, and I almost called it quits right there. This fact is not mentioned in the blurb, and if it was, I never would’ve started this book. I have been waiting for the eldest Winslow sibling's story since the very beginning of this series, and damn did it live up to my expectations! It's heartfelt, sweet, and the emotional and physical connection between Maria and Remy is so strong, so intense that it made me long for that time when I first fell in love with my husband. The whole family plus some old friends (Thatch!!) make cameos, and the series comes to a bittersweet end with a great epilogue. I am going to miss these Winslows so much.Did I spend my Wednesday shirking all responsibilities and reading this book? You bet I did. And I have zero regrets. Because Max Monroe definitely saved the swooniest and the best of the brothers for the end. Though, to be fair, I love Flynn (from The Pact) the most still, but Remy is almost sharing that spot. This book made me laugh, sigh and just swoon a whole lot and that’s exactly what I love about Max Monroe’s books. You’re so rarely bored! The Redo was the perfect way to end an amazing series. Maria and Remy’s story brought all the feels as well as the hotness. I absolutely love the Winslow clan and all their shenanigans. And that extended epilogue was *chef’s kiss* and I honestly could’ve read 15 more chapters. Max Monroe, tip of the hat to you and thank you for giving us these fantastic characters.

So many amazingly hilarious and adorable sibling and family moments. And of course we get our much-needed Thatch-fix too! Marias character was also an absolute highlight. It brought emotion and healing, making their relationship seem so realistic. The tequila scene will live rent free in my head, there were so many amazing moments for healing for both the characters-- having loved their first life and now embarking on new chapters. Max Monroe is an author of romance novels. He likes to write about successful playboys that eventually get entangled in the lives of the women they are incapable of taming, this leading to a blissful romance down the line. And I’m just trying to survive a tangled web of unexpected motherhood and run one of the best real estate companies in town that never sleeps. He's the jaded guy who doesn't want to settle down, and I'm the career-focused woman with more baggage than a 747 can hold. We're just two friends who used to be in love. The Redo (Winslow Brothers Book 4) by Max Monroe is smashingly swoony and sexy, full of heart and humor, and also amazingly adorable. Max Monroe basically wrote this book for me with all the tropes and swoons. I’m a big fan of lovers friends so obviously that was my thing. And then add in one of my all-time favorite tropes, second chances, and I’m basically like putty on his hands. I read and loved all of the Winslow brothers when their books came out and was always very curious about Remy because he missed Cleo and her fortune telling all those years ago. And I felt so bad, I wanted to protect him. Maria is a workaholic in which her life revolves around her career. She doesn’t have time for a relationship but honestly she isn’t looking for one anyway. She’s been through some unimaginable things that have left her to figure out how she’s going to get through, but she’s strong and selfless and if anyone can make it work, it’s her. Though sometimes it’s good to have a helping hand and in Maria’s case it comes in the form of a blast from the past.
