In addition to our June 23 release, we have a little more in store for The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth this year. Arriving November 3, some exciting additions that share more from The Lord of Rings include: You can use the Magic Celebration event to encourage your players to create their own Wizards Account. With a Wizards Account, players can log into MTG Arena, use the Companion app at your store, and more. During the event, help new players understand the benefits of joining, and make sure they know how to find future events at your store. Prerelease for any Magic set can be one of the most exhilarating events at your store—your community has come together to get their hands on the newest cards in person for the first time, and maybe some have brought along friends or family to join the fun.Expand your community with the Bring-a-Friend promo card. For the first time, a copy of this card can be given to your returning player as well as the new folks they bring into your store.

One Learn-to-Play demo guide with gameplay mechanics, featuring artwork from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Store Championship events are the perfect cap for The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth events to encourage a bit of friendly competition. The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth on MTG Arena The Middle Earth SBG system by Games Workshop caters to both newcomers and seasoned hobbyists alike. It provides an accessible entry point for those new to tabletop gaming while still offering complex mechanics that challenge experienced players. This fusion of accessibility and depth ensures that all enthusiasts can embark on memorable journeys through Middle Earth.

You can use the Magic Celebration Event to encourage your players to create their own Wizards Account—with a Wizards Account, players can log into MTG Arena, use the Companion app at your store, and more. Be sure to let newer players know that having a Wizards Account is a great tool to connect with other Wizards games, and easily register for events at your store. Scenes range from two by two cards, as seen above, up to six by three cards—an epic 18 cards to show an epic scene at that scale—and there are seven total scenes available in June, five of which appear in The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Draft and Set Boosters, with all seven appearing in Collector Boosters. (The scene above is available in Bundle and Bundle: Gift Edition as well as Collector Boosters and gives you a taste of what to expect.) Then in November, four additional scenes (each three by two cards) arrive to add to the incredible sights found in The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. WPN Premium stores, in addition to receiving a higher quantity of the promotional dice sets mentioned above, will receive a Photoflyer activation kit; this kit will allow players to take a souvenir photo that will slot into a frame and become a usable 1/1 Human token. Cordially invite your players to the Magic Celebration Event taking place from July 7 – 9. This event will bring together fans of The Lord of the Rings and Magic: The Gathering for an epic weekend of fun and games featuring Jumpstart. Players alternate taking turns for Sauron and his forces. Sauron’s forces are represented by three sets of “Enemies” dice. Early in the game, players will face the likes of Goblins and Trolls with The Fellowship of the Ring Enemies dice. As players progress in the game, they will encounter tougher foes such as Wargs, Mumakil and Nazgul with The Two Towers Enemies dice & The Return of the King Enemies dice. If players are not able to defeat all of Sauron’s forces before his next turn, they may not advance to the next stage and Sauron gains corruption. Corruption is spread onto the cards on the playfield making the dice associated with these cards useless while corrupted. If too many cards are corrupted, Sauron has conquered Middle-earth and all players lose the game.For fans new and old across Magic and The Lord of the Rings, this is a chance to celebrate with an unforgettable event for an amazing set.
