About this deal

Based on these results, I think it's safe to say that the Fuma 2 can handle up to 200w TDP loads safely. Being a dual-tower design, we do expect some heft, and the rated 1000 grams is of no surprise to us. However, we are not here to bash companies; we are here to praise Scythe for being one of the ever-shrinking list of a few manufacturers that believe you should not have to take out a loan to grab a CPU cooler to obtain better than average results!

At the top-left, we learn about compatibility, at top-right, we see mention of a Kaze Flex fan next to the Scythe name and logo, and the bottom-left corner also shows the use of another Kaze Flex fan. Featuring a dual-tower design, two large aluminum heatsinks, and a pair of 140mm NF-A15 PWM fans, it provides exceptional performance and heat dissipation for a wide range of processors, including high-end models with high TDPs. Of course, there is more going on under the hood, but diving into them in great detail at this point would have this intro be too long so early in the game. This design ensures efficient heat dissipation and allows for compatibility with various system configurations, including those with tall RAM modules.I can be a bit indecisive at times and I am not the most knowledgable on CPU coolers that work with NR200 builds. B is exceptional due to its six heat pipes that efficiently transfer heat away from the CPU and into the large fin arrays of the heatsinks. Applying the overclock made the fans spin faster, but the overall noise level stayed somewhat limited.

During the installation process, the universal backplate is securely fixed to the mainboard by rubberised spacers, making the process considerably easier. We are also shown that six 6mm diameter heat pipes are running through the tower, but Scythe does not mention the 48 fins in each stack, plus each stack has a black top cover fin with their logo pressed into it as well. The fan resides above the RAM as we have it, but for those who want added VRM cooling, you can slide the fans down to blow air under the cooler. Also, the decibel results proved that it was running at full fan speed at the test end, but honestly it’s just so damn quiet. After applying some thermal paste, and aligning the cross bar on the cooler with the rest of the HPMS III system, we grabbed the screwdriver. Again, everything is black, it is just a thicker frame with wider blades, and this fan turns in the opposite direction of the 15mm thick one we just saw.
